The Hydrogen Incidents and Accidents Database, is an international open communication platform collecting
systematic data on hydrogen-related undesired events (incidents or accidents)
The main purpose of HIAD is to assist all stakeholders in a better understanding of hydrogen events,
to serve as an important data source for safety lessons learnt, risk communication and risk assessment, in order to facilitate
the safe introduction of hydrogen technologies and applications for a more sustainable development in Europe
